It's really tricky to find in-game at times because it often is placed under a normal game item in the menu like a color option. I won't ever let my CC become unorganized again as it took me hours! My suggestion is a thumb drive dedicated strictly for Sims. Part 1: Tackling the mods folder Before beginning the tidying up process, copy and paste your entire Sims 4 folder somewhere safe. But each of these subfolders is only one level deep. My personal rule of thumb is to have all scripting mods in the main Mods folder, and all objects/assets (clothes, animations, overrides, etc.) in their respective subfolders.

This will be done in multiple articles with the first one covering the mods folder. I have my folder arranged by type and then by creator if I have a lot of mods by one person. For those who say you can’t figure out how to do it, it’s because you need to understand folder structure Once you can pinpoint where on your PC the Sims 4 game is stored, then you can use that location to pull it up to add ReShade When you install The Sims 4 on your PC, your Documents folder creates a folder called Electronic Arts. So, I wanted to show you how I organize my folder. Once you have spent the time organizing your CC you will find it so much easier to manage. As far as I am aware EA doesn't support CC to the extent of the search tool. There some good tips here on how to manage CC. You can create one folder per script mod within the Mods folder but no further nesting For example Mods MCCC All Files of the mod Sims Info All Files of the mod etc Happy Gaming Crin I dont work or have any association with EA. male tops, male bottoms, male hair etc) that way if things go wrong I can take out all my CC and introduce one folder at a time to figure out which folder has the 'bad' CC. I keep mine in folders by creator and/or by what they are (eg. I know it's a pain and time consuming to do but it is the only way to manage CC. The only thing you can do is make sub folders inside your mods folder.
